The Pinnacle U16 Program is designed for athletes ready to take greater ownership of their training, preparation, and competitive goals. IS PINNACLE U16 THE RIGHT FIT?

Advanced development. Greater ownership. Two ways to package the season.

READY FOR GREATER OWNERSHIP

The U16 program is designed for athletes ready to take greater ownership of their technical development, race strategy, equipment preparation, physical conditioning, communication, and competitive goals.

ONE TEAM - TWO WAYS TO PACKAGE THE SEASON

Regional and FIS Prep athletes share Pinnacle's coaching environment, home training, Region 3 racing, and access to calendar-supported opportunities. The difference is whether designated Searchmont weekends, qualifiers, championships, and travel projects are added as needed or included in the seasonal fee.

A CONNECTED PINNACLE PATHWAY

Region 3 scored racing and the Bob Hosking R/C Qualifier build toward Rocky/Central Championships and future FIS competition, including Mid-Am races when athletes become age-eligible.

Progression depends on athlete development, readiness, eligibility, qualification, and individual goals.

HOW THE SCHEDULE WORKS

HOME-HILL SELECTION

At the beginning of the season, families select Pine Knob or Alpine Valley as their home hill. Athletes normally train at their selected location on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

SHARED U16/U18/U21 TRAINING GROUP

U16, U18, and U21 athletes train together within Pinnacle's upper-level training group. They share the same weekday schedule and coordinated coaching structure.

SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENTS

Weekend sessions and early- or late-season training may be consolidated at one available hill. Mt. Holly may also be used for selected sessions. All location changes will be communicated through the official team calendar.

FALL DRYLAND

U16 athletes are strongly encouraged to participate in Pinnacle's fall dryland program. Dryland training helps athletes develop the strength, conditioning, mobility, coordination, and physical readiness needed for the demands of the ski season. Program details and registration will be released separately.

RACING & COMPETITION

Purposeful competition that prepares athletes for increasingly advanced racing.

REGION 3 SCORED RACING

INCLUDED WITH BOTH OPTIONS

Regional and FIS Prep athletes follow Pinnacle's designated Region 3 U16 scored-racing schedule and receive coaching at the core team races identified on the official calendar.

BOB HOSKING & CENTRAL EVENTS

BOB HOSKING INCLUDED WITH BOTH OPTIONS

Both options include coaching expenses for the Bob Hosking R/C Qualifier. FIS Prep also includes coaching expenses for additional calendar-designated Central events and qualifiers. Regional families may select those opportunities with additional coaching expenses.

SEARCHMONT & CHAMPIONSHIPS

PACKAGED BY PROGRAM OPTION

FIS Prep includes designated Searchmont training weekends through the end of February and coaching expenses for Rocky/Central Championships and other identified opportunities. Regional athletes may participate when eligible or qualified, with applicable coaching expenses added separately.
